buttons abroad: rotorua day 2

The second day in Rotorua started of horsetrekking with paradise valley ventures. At the end of the day it was a horse ride, i'm sure you could do this anywhere in the world, so if you enjoy horseriding and you have some time to spare consider this. Otherwise there are plenty of other things to see and do, which you can't see or do anywhere else.

Followed by an afternoon hike in the waimangu volcanic valley. The valley is another area of geothermal activity. The views are absolutely spectacular. The pictures above don't do it justice, the place was one of the most amazing places in the world that I  have visited. I have honestly never seen anything like it. I would definitely recommend a visit :)

I shall be back next week to share with you what I got up to on day 3 :)
