h&m haul part 1

Green Blazer £10 (sale)
Tweed Jacket £15 (sale)
Jumper £10 (sale)

Mint Green Jumper £7 (sale)
Coral Jumper £10 (sale)

Hi guys!

Today's post is a collective haul of some sale pieces I've picked up in various different H&Ms throughout the past 2 months.

Green is a colour that is lacking in my wardrobe so I've been trying to incorporate more green pieces into my wardrobe and when I saw this blazer for only a tenner I could not pass it up. It fits really well and the material is really good quality so I'm definitely pleased with this purchase.

I already own a tweed jacket, however the colour combination and style of this jacket is completely  different, hence I justified purchasing it. Now I own two tweed jackets.

Let's face it the weather during spring in the UK isn't that warm and I'll still be making use of the jumpers I picked up, pale pink, mint green and coral are all spring appropriate colours so they'll transition nicely.

What's your favourite piece?

Part 2 will be Radha's haul, which will be up next!

floral and pink

Outfit Details
Top : H&M
Trousers : Fenn Wright Manson (TK Maxx)
Cardie : Zara
Shoes : Urban Outfitters
Earrings : Next

Hey Guys!

A quick post today with a work outfit.  I snagged these navy Fenn Wright Manson trousers for only £9 from TK Maxx! They had a tag with the original price of £120! TK Maxx is such a great place to find bargains and this has to be one my best finds!

I paired the trousers with this grey flower print top that I bought from H&M years ago.  I teamed it with a bright pink cardie from Zara and I love grey and bright pink colour combination.

To complete the look I wore my tan brogues from Urban Outfitters and pink earrings from Next.

Do you like shopping in TK maxx? What's your best find?

the body shop carrot moisture cream

Is it not frustrating when one of your favourite products gets discontinued?

I finally found a face cream that worked well for me. I have dry sensitive skin, so I need a product that will moisturise without causing a reaction. I actually went back and bought two tubs after going through the first tub as it worked so well. I am now coming up to finishing my final tub, so this weekend I went to the Body Shop to repurchase the cream only to be told that it has been discontinued! If you've been in a similar situation I'm sure you can feel my frustration!

So a little plea to the bosses at The Body Shop, if you happen to be reading this post, then please bring back this face cream!

What are some of your favourite products that have been discontinued?

a crisp autumn day in the park

This weekend I was sorting through pictures on my memory card, and stumbled upon these forgotten ones from a few months back. They reminded me of fresh air and fun walks in the park.

During winter time it's rather too cold for my liking and I become somewhat of a lazy hermit and spend my time indoors. I'm looking forward to spring time and days out exploring the countryside once again.

If you need a Monday pick me then this song by Lindsey Ray never fails to put a smile on my face.

If your in need of a fun activity this week  then go take a peek at our review of the film Cloud Atlas and see if it takes your fancy.

Talking of different seasons. What your favourite season?

gap haul

I love shopping in Gap for casual basics and jeans. They're clothes are always such good quality and comfy. I like to wait until the sales as the regular prices can be a bit on the higher side.

Coloured Jeans £5.99-9.99
I have really been loving jeans lately, and I couldn't resist these coloured ones, as I can continue wearing them through spring and summer. I picked up the lilac pair only originally, and have worn them a few times and then when I went in store and they were reduced further, (don't you hate it when that happens!) so I could not resist picking up another two colours.

Corduroy Jeans £9.99
These cord jeans are seriously so soft, they feel like velvet. I don't have many pale bottoms in my wardrobe so i'm excited to experiment with these.

Always Skinny Jeans £17.99
The Gap always skinny jeans are one of my favorites. They fit so perfectly. I couldn't resist picking up a pair at less than half price!

Jumper £9.99
I love jumpers from gap because they are so soft and during the winter I tend to live in them so I picked up two.

Jumper £14.99
I realized when my order arrived that both my jumpers were grey themed and stripey!

Cardigan £9.99
I picked up two cardigans, you can never have too many cardigans to use as cover up's in the winter time.

Socks £2.99
Finally I picked up a pair of  thick knee high socks, perfect to keep my feet warm during the cold weather!

I love how you can pretty much mix and match most things in GAP and you have yourself a quick outfit.

As you can see from my haul i'm currently obsessed with coloured jeans, stripes and grey! What are your current obsessions?

shades of purple

Outfit Details
Coat: Zara
Top: Asda
Skirt: Asda
Tights: House of Fraser
Bag: H&M
Boots: New Look

Hey Guys!

It's still pretty cold and wet here in the UK. I can't wait until it's a lot warmer and I can put my winter coats away.

As today is a dull and gloomy day, I thought I'd add some colour into my wardrobe by wearing different shades of purple. I teamed my peter pan collar top with a Aztec print skirt, both from ASDA. I wore this with a black coat, tights and boots. To finish of the look, I accessorised with my aubergine bag from H&M.

What's the weather like where you are?

accessories haul

Earrings  Shoes  Handbag  Mask
Mask: £2 | Charity Shop

Earrings: £2 each | House of Fraser

Earrings: £2 for 6 pairs | Next

Shoes: £14 | Next

Tights: £1 each | Wallis

Bag: £25 | Warehouse

Hey guys!

I can't believe it's Monday already and I'm back to work, the weekend goes so fast!

This post is an assortment of accessories I got from a variety of shops over the last month. The first is a mask, which I picked up from a charity (thrift) shop for £2. I'd never been to the shop before but popped in whilst waiting for the bus. They had some nice trinkets so will definitely pop back in.

The earrings were also £2 from House of Fraser. I was passing the store during my lunch hour when I noticed they were having a jewellery sale. I picked the two earrings as I thought they would go well with both Indian and western clothes as a statement jewellery piece.

I also got a cute set of earrings from Next. These are perfect for everyday and were a bargain at £2 for a set of 6! My favourite are the strawberry and flowers. I also got some mid-heeled woollen shoes for £14. They are monochrome with gold thread running through. I can't walk in high heels so they're great for work.

From Wallis, I got some tights. You can't go wrong with tights for £1. I particularly loved the berry colour.

I got a mahogany bag from Warehouse for £25. I was looking for a smart large bag and this fits the bill perfectly. I love how it has pockets on the outside, perfect for keeping bits and bobs so they're easy to find.

What are your best Charity shop finds?

lashes of london competition

Lashes of London

Hey guys!

E-tail web stores and Lashes of London have teamed up to giveaway £200 of vouchers to one lucky winner who compiles the best wish list/collage

We are loving the black PU skirt and have chose to base our two outfits around it. The skirt is leather effect and we love the pleating detail it has. In the first outfit, we have teamed the skirt with a lace t-shirt. Lace has been very prominent for the past few seasons. We love the electric blue colour and think it would be a great evening outfit when teamed with a statement necklace.

For the second outfit, we have teamed a silk butterfly print shirt with the skirt. We love how the delicate silk shirt clashes with the though PU skirt. It's a great day-to-night outfit.

Which outfit do you prefer?

gillette and olay product trial

I've just recently discovered Savvy Circle, which gives its members the opportunity to test out and rate new products. I was lucky enough to be one of the three thousand members in a new project they are currently running and have the opportunity to trial the Gillette Venus & Olay five-blade razor and Olay Essentials Complete Care Multiradiance Fluid.

It has also been years since I last used the Gillette Venus razor so I'm interested to see how it has changed, and the difference the Olay bars give. I've never tried Olay products before so I'm definitely looking forward to testing out this moisturising lotion.

Once I've had a chance to use these products properly I shall be posting a full review, so be sure to look out for that.

If you would like to become a member of Savvy circle or want more information, then click here.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts?

green and grey

Outfit Details
Hat: Next
Jumper: Warehouse
Dress: Dorothy Perkins
Belt: Dorothy Perkins
Tights: River Island
Bag: Warehouse
Boots: H&M
Earrings: Dorothy Perkins

Hey guys! Hope your all having a fabulous weekend.

In this outfit I wore my Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkin's dress, but as it is pretty cold I wore a jumper on top and belted it to look more like a skirt.

When shopping I definitely look for pieces that are versatile. I like to style a piece in a variety of different ways to get maximum usage and create different looks.

A dress is such a versatile piece, styled correctly you can wear it as skirt, as a top, take it to take it from day to night, transition it from season to season.

Do you like to style your dresses in different ways?

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

urban outfitters haul

Urban Outfitters is one of my favourite places to shop, I absolutely adore the quirkiness. So when I visited Birmingham I couldn't leave without paying Urban Outfitters a visit.

Lace Detailed Shirt £10
I picked up this gorgeous shirt at an absolute bargain price! It has lace across the front and back and what makes it even more adorable is that the lace is in the shape of roses. If that wasn't enough there is stud detailing on the collar, giving the shirt an edgier twist. I have so many styling ideas for this shirt spinning around in my head, can't wait to get started!

Everything Is Going To Be Okay £8.99
I mentioned in my new years resolutions post that one of my goals for this year, was to feel more happier and be more positive. One way I was going to do this was start each morning by reading an inspirational quote. Since purchasing this book, I keep it on my bedside table and start the morning by opening it up to a random page. It's such a lovely book, full of inspirational images and encouraging words. I'm so happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend it!
