Hey Guys!

Hope you had a good week. This weekend I'm heading up to Carlisle to visit my friends. As the journey is long I've kept my outfit casual with a pair of jeans teamed with my orange coat from H&M and weekend bag from T K Maxx. I finished off the outfit with a pair of navy plimsolls which Sita picked up for me from Primark for the bargain price of £1!

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!! 

Today I went out to meet some friends for coffee and a catch up (or in my case hot chocolate seeing as I don't like coffee!). I remembered it was St Patrick's day half way through getting dressed, so instead of reaching for my black tights and black shoes as I had originally intended, I popped on a pair of green ones with green shoes! 

The weather has been so miserable! It has been raining/snowing since the morning. I had almost given up on going outside to take some pictures but then late afternoon it cleared up a bit so like a good blogger I ran out and took a few snaps before it started raining again!

Today I'm sharing my work outfit with you guys. I'm wearing my Fenn Wright Mason trousers, I scored in TK Maxx, with a simple stripy knitted jumper.

To add a pop of colour I added my bright orange jacket which I shared last week in my H&M haul.

In order to keep warm, because it may look bright but it was definitely rather chilly, I added a simple black scarf and some black ear muffs.

Trousers and a thin knitted jumper is definitely my go to quick look for work. What's your go to look for work?

In this outfit I wore my Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkin's dress, but as it is pretty cold I wore a jumper on top and belted it to look more like a skirt.

When shopping I definitely look for pieces that are versatile. I like to style a piece in a variety of different ways to get maximum usage and create different looks.

A dress is such a versatile piece, styled correctly you can wear it as skirt, as a top, take it to take it from day to night, transition it from season to season.

In this outfit I'm wearing a peter pan collar dress and slippers from Dorothy Perkins. I adore the collar detailing on the dress, it definitely jazzes up the otherwise simple dress. I completed the look by adding a black velvet jacket, which was gifted to me around 15 years ago. Just goes to show that if you take care of your nicer clothing items they will eventually come back in fashion. I teamed it with a clutch I got from Claires. 

I wore this outfit for an office party but I haven't had time to share, it until now. However it can easily be used as an Valentine's day outfit, for a first date or a romantic date with your partner.
