The Claims
This exfoliating body scrub contains real shea butter. It lifts away dead skin cells and has a subtle, nutty scent.
The Reality
The body shop shea body scrub is moisturising as well as ex-foliating, but perhaps a little less ex-foliating then we would like.
We both agreed that from the first use our skin was left very soft and smooth. In fact every time we use the scrub our skin feels very hydrated and moisturised. This scrub is one of the most moisturising scrubs we've used, you could even skipped moisturising afterwards because your skin is left so soft. It is very gentle and non-irritating.
As an exfoliator we didn't think that it quite cut it as it lacked grittiness. If your someone that likes something gritty that you can work in to remove all the dead cells then we suspect that you will find this scrub too gentle and recommend you skip this.
However if your someone with very dry or sensitive skin or if your looking for a gentle scrub to use everyday then we would highly recommend this one.
The Packaging
The scrub comes in a plastic tub which does the job, and makes it easy to use up every last bit of the product.

Not keen on body scrubs at all - however, the body moisturising cream is a must-have for me and my family. We like their Coconut Butter Body cream as well. It sinks in, without leaving any oily feel and the skins retains the moisture for a great while.
