It's Saturday, which means our weekly post sisterly discord. With summer coming, this week we look at your favourite type holiday. City break or beach holiday?

Radha: I don't mind going to the beach occasionally but can't spend to long there unless I'm doing an activity. I prefer city breaks as it's more fun exploring the city and getting lost is all part of the fun. It's also nice to find the little boutique shops and local markets selling quirky and unique pieces.

Sita: I prefer city breaks, as I like exploring new cities and experiencing new cultures. I enjoy visiting museums and places of interest and learning about the origins and history of a city I'm visiting. I like going to the beach too but I'm the type of person that always like to be doing something so I can't sit around for too long and prefer do water activities.

Hello everyone :) Hope your all having a good weekend. We have had some new followers recently so we'll do a bit of an explanation this time. Each Saturday here at Buttons Apart we do a feature entitled Sisterly Discord. Each week we ask a question, which each of us will answer, so you guys get to know a little more about us. We also invite all our readers to participate and answer the question to, so we can get to know you a little better to.

Let's go ahead with this weeks question: Are you an early bird or a night owl? 

Radha: I'm a night owl. If I have work to do then I stay up until the morning to do it as I know I won't be able to wake up early in the morning. I'm terrible at waking up. I have to set both my alarm clock and the alarm on my phone!

Sita: I'm a night owl to. It must run in the family! I'm the same as Radha, I can stay up till the early hours of the morning no problem! However when it comes to waking up I find it difficult. I start work at 8am and I tend to wake up at around 7.30/7.40am. Although I'm never late as I only live 3 mins walk away, which is really lucky!

Radha: Mine has to be the the Alexander McQueen Bag. It's gorgeous! Wish I had one!

Sita: I think the iPhone case is pretty cool. If only I had an iPhone!

Hey guys!

Hope you've all been enjoying the sunny weather this weekend. For this weeks sisterly discord, the question is necklaces or earrings?

Sita: I would choose earrings as I don't usually wear any jewellery, earrings are the only thing I wear on an everyday basis. For work I'm not allowed to wear bracelets, rings (aside from wedding rings), long necklaces and long earrings so I just tend to wear studs. I think I definitely need to accessorize more and start to introduce more jewellery in my outfits out of work as I think I've just gotten use to work rules. The only time I properly include jewellery in my outfits is when I wear Indian clothes

Radha: I have to go with necklaces. I do wear studs but am not too keen on big heavy earrings, even when wearing Indian clothes. I love necklaces though I hate chokers. They make me feel so confined and claustrophobic! I think necklaces can make an outfit and are a great way to add colour.

Another week, another question!

This week the question is: Trousers (Pants) or Skirts? 

Sita: I prefer skirts. I do like trousers too but because of my height (I'm 5 foot 3 with short legs) I always find it really difficult to find trousers that fit well lengthwise, normal sizes tend to be too long for me and petite lengths are just a little too short for me! 

Radha: I prefer trousers as I find them more comfy and practical and you don't have to worry about a gush of wind blowing your skirt up!

Hey guys!


Yay, it's finally Saturday! So it's time for our weekly feature and this weeks question is glasses or contacts?


Sita: Contact lens. I tend to wear contacts on a daily basis and wear glasses when I'm at home. Because I have a small face and find it hard to find a frame that suits my face. I usually end up having to buy children's frames! Which is annoying as there's not as much choice! I find that my vision is much clearer with contacts and its really annoying when your glasses get steamed up!!

Radha: Glasses. I hate anything getting close to my eye so struggle to get lenses in, especially early in the morning! Plus I think glasses are cool and love that you can accessorise to match your outfit. I currently own four pairs and love switching between them to match my clothes.

Hey Guys!

It's Saturday again already! Another week flew by.

This week the question is...

What is your favourite shoe?

Shoes by radha-m featuring tailored shoes

Sita: I would like to say heels, but although they look nice and I admire them, I prefer flats. They're more comfy and easier for me to walk in, I find heels difficult to walk in, so tend to only wear them for special occasions. Day to day I live in flat. I especially love brogues..brogues would be my favourite shoe!

Radha: I too prefer flats to heels. I can barely stand in heels let alone walk! I love brogues as they are very cool and great for work. I also love flat or low heel boots and ballet pumps but my all time favourite shoes are my sneakers. They are soo comfortable! I once had a pair of shoes that were a cross between brogues and sneakers. They looked like brogues but had sneaker soles. I got them from River Island for £10 in the sales and wore them out until the soles got holes. It was a sad day when I had to chuck them out =(

What's your favourite colour?

Radha: Hmm that's quite hard to pick just one but I think I'd have to go for orange. I love bright colours and orange has always been a favourite. I even had bright orange trainers as a kid! Below are some items in orange from Urban Outfitters that I am loving at the moment.

Sita: My colour of the moment is coral. My all time favourite colour has to be bright pink (fuschia). Initially it was a baby pink. One of the walls in my bedroom at my parent's house is painted bright pink! Some of my pink pick's below.
